WELCOME

From 2022 and 2023 we surveyed Indigenous artists across the territory, specifically remote communities, to hear about their experiences creating art.

We heard about the rewards, challenges and systemic barriers of being an artist working to produce quality pieces of art that include traditional clothing & tools, jewelry, music and stone carvings.

Guided by this research, our goal is to create community and facilitate opportunities to grow and showcase their work. With the help of Copper Quartz Media, we were fortunate to produce video summaries of this research. Check them out below!
